Andre the Giant was literally the biggest celebrity in the world. HBO Sports, WWE, and the Bill Simmons Media Group present Andre The Giant, a documentary examining the life and career of one of the most beloved figures in wrestling history. Andre the Giant premieres April 10 on HBO.
 

At 7-foot-4, 500 pounds, André The Giant was one of the greatest attractions in professional wrestling. While the myth’s are well documented, the man behind them is often unexplored. This documentary, produced by PittCru under the direction of Jason Hehir, looked to peel back the mythology and examine the life of André Rene Roussimoff as told by the people who remembered him best.
